The Grammar Stage

Fluency and the ancient world.

With reading now fluent, second graders begin to write in earnest, shaping complete sentences and their first true paragraphs. History carries them back to the dawn of civilization, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome, where the long story of God’s providence over the nations comes into view.
