Geneva Pre-Kindergarten is a loving, supportive environment full of fun and the shared joy of learning. It is saturated with God’s Holy Word, students sing and make art alongside their academic work and time outdoors. Once a week the whole campus worships together, singing and learning more of His Word.

We aim at balanced growth (spiritual and academic) with alphabetic and numeric mastery starting early and continuing all the way through Upper School: what we like to call the beginnings of the trivium and quadrivium.

Phonics & numbers.

Phonics & letter sounds

Direct phonics instruction is emphasized, with every letter reviewed, alongside extensive oral reading that surrounds children with good literature and cultivates a love of learning.

Number sense

Number sense is developed through review and grows steadily, children learn to count from 1 to 30, and by year’s end they are skip-counting by 5’s and 10’s. Art and music run through it all, as students learn to sing as unto the Lord.
