The Rhetoric Stage

Ethos, pathos, logos.

Tenth grade returns to the ancient world with a rhetorician’s eye, reading its history and literature closely while studying the Prophets and Revelation. In Rhetoric II students learn the classical appeals of ethos, pathos, and logos, alongside Algebra II and Biology.

Rhetoric entails being able to state the truth in a beautiful way. This means using poetry, this means using clear writing, this means being able to defend the ultimate truth of God’s word to the unbelieving world.
