The American story.

Fourth graders write at greater length and with greater care, and their history turns to the birth of the nation, from the Revolution and the framing of the Republic through the westward expansion across a growing continent.

Bible & Language Arts

Daily Bible study and the language arts — penmanship, reading, spelling, grammar, and writing — with Singapore mathematics.

History, Geography & Latin

American history from the Revolution to the Gilded Age, map skills, and Latin grammar and vocabulary.

Science

Grammar-stage earth science and physics, covering biomes, weather, motion, and electricity.

Music & Art

Drawing and design in art, with choral music sung by the Kodaly method.

Physical Education

Physical education twice a week, with games and general fitness.
